Collection: 'The Butterfly' Scarf Collection

Butterflies are stunning creatures and a beautiful reflection of the processes of rebirth, growth, renewal and freedom.  As perfect examples of trust and surrendering, butterflies embody the majesty of transformation on many levels. The first scarf of this series, entitled "Ruach" (pronounced roo-akh), is the Hebrew word for spirit, breath, or wind. What better way to describe a butterfly? Floating in the wind with grace and ease, they bring about a sense of peace and presence in the moment. I designed this scarf from my photograph of a friendly Monarch in a Battery Park City garden this summer.
