At Inspired Floral Designs NYC, our values are at the heart of everything we create. We’re committed to offering you original, exquisite floral scarves (and more) crafted sustainably and ethically, with care for both people and the earth.

Every order make an impact: three trees are planted through Forest Gardens, supporting farmers and communities in sub-Saharan Africa.

Our manufacturers takes pride in the commitment to sustainability and ethical production. They have strict ethical standards in all aspects of the production process and promote a diverse and inclusive work environment where every employee feels valued, respected, and able to contribute their best for the business. That is important to us.
 

Sustainability

Please note that production of our scarves is sustainable, with minimal water usage and reduced fabric waste output. 

FSC certified materials used; OEKO-TEX Standard 100 fabric and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Ink, GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified ink

We do not produce products beyond need. The only stock we carry is minimal for our pop-up events here in NYC. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions. Nothing is wasted.

 

Quality

All creative and design work is done from our space here in NYC and then produced in the UK and China. Each scarf is hand-made using a stunning Mulberry Habotai Silk or Silk Twill.

 

Slow Fashion (but worth the wait)

Each scarf is hand-made. Because they are made to order, it takes more time to arrive in your hands, but it is definitely worth the wait. Production usually takes 1-2 weeks, then we personally inspect each product. Allow another 3-7 days for shipping. 

 

Digital Printing

With environmental consciousness in mind, our scarves are printed completely with water-based inks. No chemicals or solvents are used. All production along with printing and fulfillment is conducted in one facility.  Because the printing is done directly onto this beautiful silk, colors emerge bold and stunning. Print details and fine lines are depicted clearly and sharply.

With every order we donate to Trees for the Future - Trees that end hunger and poverty in sub-Saharan Africa for Forest Gardens through the Dollar Donation Club. For every order 3 trees are planted.

This is a solution that helps people, the land, and the climate at the same time. Forest Gardens help people living in extreme poverty to feed their families and grow a better future for themselves and their communities.
