As the first hints of spring begin to emerge here in the city, I can’t help but feel a renewed sense of energy and gratefulness—especially after just celebrating my 46th birthday in February. Birthdays, much like the changing seasons, are a perfect time for reflection, gratitude, and celebration. This year, I celebrated for two days. On my actual birthday, I was treated to a new ear piercing at the fabulous Maria Tash here in NYC, followed by a lovely dinner with my husband and Barbara. Let's not forget the awesome cab driver who sang Happy Birthday to me! HA! The next night, I kept the celebration going with a delicious dinner surrounded by some of the most amazing ladies in my life. Moments like these remind me how important it is to take time to celebrate—ourselves, our friendships, and the joy of simply being.
