A Magical Evening at BLICK 6th Ave. - Our Art Exhibition Opening
Whitney GlandonThis past Tuesday night was one for the books! Barbara and I had the joy of unveiling our Inspired Floral Designs NYC art exhibition at BLICK on 6th Avenue and 20th Street, and the evening was nothing short of magical. From the moment the doors opened, the space was filled with warmth, laughter, creativity, and so much love from our friends, the employees of BLICK and fellow art lovers.
For Barbara and me, this wasn’t just an exhibition it was a celebration of art, friendship, and the beautiful journey that led us here. Many of you know that Barbara only recently picked up a paintbrush again after not painting since 1950. Discouraged as a young woman from pursuing painting, she rediscovered the joy of painting at the age of 95, with a little encouragement from me. Today, her vibrant floral creations are not only admired on canvas but also transformed into the silk scarves that Inspired Floral Designs NYC is known for.
Seeing our paintings and floral photography displayed alongside our scarves in such a stunning gallery space was a dream come true. We owe a huge thank you to the incredible BLICK 6th Ave team, especially Peri and Chris, who poured so much effort and heart into making the exhibition possible. Their professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail brought everything together beautifully.
We are also endlessly grateful to our friends and supporters who came out to celebrate with us. Your encouragement means the world, and it’s because of you that we can continue creating and sharing our art.
If you missed opening night, you still have plenty of time to stop by as the exhibition will be on display until August 31st. If you love vibrant colors, textures, and flowers we’d love for you to experience what brings Inspired Floral Designs NYC to life.
