Bloom Where You're Planted: Celebrating Birthdays, Creativity, and the Joys of Doing What You Love

   As the calendar flips to another year, we're reminded of the passing of time and the opportunity to celebrate another trip around the sun. But birthdays are more than just milestones—they're moments of reflection, gratitude, and celebration of the life we've lived and the dreams we've chased. This week I turn 45 and in this blog post we'll explore the importance of celebrating birthdays, embracing creativity, and doing what you love.  Inspired by the journey of founding Inspired Floral Designs NYC alongside my bestie who will soon turn 96, Barbara continues to inspire me every day by being her true authentic self.  Her love for life and others is contagious, being present in the moment, staying curious, finding creative ways to express herself and living her life to the fullest- she is a true inspiration.

Whether it's designing floral scarves and greeting cards, or dreaming up new ideas, creativity has been the driving force behind our journey, igniting our passion and fueling our happiness.

Whether it's pursuing a passion, chasing a dream, or simply indulging in a favorite hobby, doing what you love is the key to a fulfilling and meaningful life. For me, founding Inspired Floral Designs NYC was a leap of faith—a decision to follow my heart and pursue my passion for designing scarves and greeting cards from my floral photography and paintings and now so much more. And as my bestie approaches her 96th birthday, she continues to remind me that age is just a number—that as long as you're doing what you love, staying curious about life and being creative, happiness knows no bounds.

As I celebrate my 45th birthday this week and look ahead to the 96th birthday of my bestie Barbara, I'm reminded of the beauty and importance of doing what you love, embracing creativity, and celebrating each moment along the way. She reminds me of this every day. Founding Inspired Floral Designs NYC with her has been a labor of love—a journey filled with laughter and countless memories that have enriched our lives in ways we never imagined.
